Mini Venture Pouch

I am really happy with the Lochby Mini Venture Pouch. I use it when I am nature journaling as you see in the photo. It is small and lightweight enough for me to carry it into the field in my shoulder bag. Many times I do most of my journaling when I get home. It is a great way to organize my journaling "tools" so I can pull it out and begin working. I attached a small carabiner to it so I can clip it to a bag or a belt loop if necessary. I also have two of the Venture Pouches (which hold more/ larger). I still use those when I want to take more stuff with me.

This a a very-well made pouch. Sturdy material, smooth zipper, clean stitching. Just enough places to put things. My pouch is in my car, holds the things I would want to grab if I had to make a quick exit, heading into a hotel room, etc.

Just a quick note - and not a negative thing - but it is smaller than I thought it would be. One item that I’d like to put in there won’t fit, and it’s a relatively small item of a .380 nature. Again, not a negative, just a heads-up. I wouldn’t hesitate to get another if the need for one arose.

I recently bought the full sized Venture pouch after wanting one ever since they came out, thinking I'd use it as an EDC pouch for all my stationery & writing stuff. I love that thing, and can't recommend it enough, but realized that it's just a little too big to fit in my shoulder sling bag (or whatever you call those) along with my Mini Field Journal. So, I treated myself to the Mini Venture to see how that'd work. I've included a photo of both of them to show you how it fits more easily in my bag. I bought it in that nice Olive Green color that matches my Mini Field Journal, and it is much more portable & fits in my sling bag perfectly. Now, with two Venture pouches, I've turned this little one into my grab & go bag of charging cables, a power bank, a USB drive & some memory cards, nail clippers & such, personal medications, and an 86lux rechargeable book light (handy for updating your journal or checkbook ledger after dark) and a folding knife. My bigger Venture pouch is now my "pens & stuff" carry-all that fits neatly in a bigger bag. Now I just gotta figure out what new job my Lochby tool roll will do since it used to be my "pens & stuff kit". :-) I heartily recommend these pouches for keeping your stuff neatly organized!

TBH I got this as an add on to get free shipping and it was on sale. I thought I could give it as a gift but I decided to try it. I absolutely love it. There is so much space. I use it for my nature and travel journaling. It holds some pencils, markers, a water brush, a mini palette, pocket knife, and loupe and some other miscellaneous things. I was planning on using the Tool Roll but so far this more than meets my needs and that will be a gift.
