Field Folio B5

This is an addition to my last review on the Folio B5. I forgot to include most of these images. You can certainly get creative on how to pack it your way. I love carrying this to work, meetings, traveling, nature walks, or practically wherever I go. I use it as a daily planner, sketchbook, bujo, journal, notebook for note taking.

To give you an idea, here's how I packed my folio:

- 1x Everyman Grafton pen (matte black) in pen pocket

- 1x Apple tag

- 1x Genius Gear Lab 3" ruler

- 1x Lochby pocket-sized notebook

- 2x Sakura Pigma Micron fineliner pens

- 1x Staedtler 0.5mm machanical pencil

- 1x Uni metal case for lead replacements

- 1x eraser

- 1x Post-it notepad

- Stamps

- 1x Lochby B5 notebook

- 1x Nitoms S4102 STALOGY Notebook (B5)

- index cards

- paper clips

Even with this configuration, there's still room to fit more in each pockets.

One thing I'd like to see in the future is an inner zipper pocket to keep smaller items secured without falling out when opening or closing.

I'm a recent Lochby convert. I'm the type that would research throughly before I take the plunge. It didn’t take long for me to give in. Various voices from other Lochby cult followers via YouTube piqued my interest. Then frequent visits to the Lochby website got me curiously hooked. I was weak. Hence, I initially purchased the pocket journal to use as a sketchbook / memo organizer to take wherever I go. I loved everything about it. The quality, ruggedness, and functionality seem unmatched compared to other available pocket journals out there. Then in April ’25, Lochby dropped the mic and announced that they were going to release the Field Folio B5 in May 2025. Honestly, it wasn’t in my radar to get another Lochby organizer. Folio B5 was basically a bigger brother of Folio A5. I didn’t like the A5 particularly because of the zipper tail. Therefore, I slowly turned and looked away. Then those voices started to reel me back in via B5 teasers from Lochby website. I read the research on the reasons why Lochby decided to us the zipper tail. I started to convince myself why I needed a Folio B5. I started researching on Amazon what items to pack out this organizer. Then I went back to the Lochby website and stared at the pre-order button. I could of sworn that there was a finger gesture inviting me to click the button to purchase. It would have a 5 star rating if there were the same notebooks available as there are for the A5 folio. The Field Folio B5 is used for work. As a truck driver, there are a lot of bits of information that I need to keep up with and the Field Folio B5 will do a fantastic job of it!

I love the Lochby products so much that I have the Field Folio B5, Field Folio A5, the Sidekick (which is the best wallet I've owned), the Pocket Journal, the Field Journal, the Field Journal Mini, the Venture Pouch, AND the Quattro. I use every one of them for specific uses. Fantastic products!
