Mini Venture Pouch

I am really happy with the Lochby Mini Venture Pouch. I use it when I am nature journaling as you see in the photo. It is small and lightweight enough for me to carry it into the field in my shoulder bag. Many times I do most of my journaling when I get home. It is a great way to organize my journaling "tools" so I can pull it out and begin working. I attached a small carabiner to it so I can clip it to a bag or a belt loop if necessary. I also have two of the Venture Pouches (which hold more/ larger). I still use those when I want to take more stuff with me.

This was my first 'pouch'. I thought I'd never use one, but now I can't get by without using one. Great durability-no fraying or tearing anywhere even after months of use. I love the bigger zipper opening on the mini Venture compared to the smaller opening on the Venture. This is now the pouch that I compare all other pouches against. I've tried a few others, but I just keep coming back to this one.

Purchased the olive and cream and it is a part of my daily carry now, holding my pens, a Leuchtturm A6, Bullet Journal Pocket (just barely fits!), earphones, extra earphones, an emergency pen, scissors and whatever else I figure to stuff in there that day.

The two ways to open, the pouch and the tool loops, makes for easy access and easy discover of what I need. Now I just need to figure out a reason to get a second one.

Received my Lochby Mini Venture Pouch and could not wait to load it up. It is amazing how much this little pouch can hold. Just like Doctor Who’s Tardis, it is "bigger on the inside"! Initial loadout is listed below and yes it is pretty much full! The No.8 Opinel was fitting a little loose so I added a backup pen to tighten things up. First thoughts, It is obviously well made and purposefully designed. I like the size, it is small but it still holds a lot. The waxed canvas looks like it has already been well used, in a good way. I love the color, mine is in Olive. Very clever the way the clamshell side, the side with the pen loops, creates the divider on the pouch side. Things I would like to see added. A full sized mesh pocket on the outside. The Venture pouch has two D-rings, it would be great if the Mini Venture had at least one so you could clip it to your belt or backpack without using the handle. I may add a titanium D-Ring to the handle strap and clip a Nite-Ize carabiner to it. Overall I give it 4.999 out of 5 stars, oh what the Hell, 5 out of 5 stars!
