If you’ve been with us since our BOND Gear days, the Venture Pouch should be familiar. It’s a well-loved piece of gear so we decided to make a waxed canvas version and add it to our LOCHBY lineup for everyone else!

But what makes this pouch special? Among other specific things, one of them that all our customers have said time and time again is how spacious it is! It has room for all their essentials and then some—which is exactly what we had in mind when we created the Venture Pouch. We want something that we can all use to conveniently carry our stuff.

Just like what we did with the Quattro, we’ve sorted through the reviews where we can so we can show you how other people have used the Venture Pouch! Do you use it the same way? If not, then these new ideas can inspire you into maximizing your own pouch so you can get the most use out of it!

Does the Venture Pouch really have two sections?

It does! One side is a normal pouch that includes three mesh pockets and the other one has elastic loops for things like pens and other similarly shaped/sized instruments, cables, or tools. Organization is important to us, too—the design is deliberate so it’s easier to find what you need when you need it!

Do any of your other gear fit?

Yes! The Pocket Journal fits inside and so does the Quattro. In fact, as you can see from the reviews below, you can fit quite a bit more.

Something that surprises a lot of people when they first get the Venture Pouch is how roomy it is. We pay attention to maximizing space in order to reduce bulk, something that you can see with our other gear.

What’s with the d-rings and carry handle?

The d-rings give you the option to add a strap of your choice for cross-body carry or as a sling bag! This is optional of course and, while some other people don’t feel the need to do this, others find it handy especially if they need their hands free. Meanwhile, the carry handle makes it easy to lug your Venture Pouch around or pull out of a filled bag. These are little things that we’ve added for convenience.

We're currently working on adding a strap to go with the Venture Pouch so please stay tuned for that!

What kinds of things have people put in it?

This is a little difficult to answer because the possibilities are endless! From tech or tactical EDC, first aid, art supplies, fountain pens, journaling supplies and more, there’s so much you can store in the Venture Pouch.

Take a look at some of the examples below.
