United StatesI've been on the lookout for a single subject A5 notebook, fountain pen friendly paper, dot grid, and stitched not stapled binding notebook for a while. Somehow I landed on LOCHBY. The only other things I wish I could find in a notebook like this is page numbers (I hope this happens in future version) and perforated pages (which I know would increase the price so it's not a huge deal). I think anyone who has used moleskine cahiers or leuchtturm jottbooks would really like these for the same use cases. It has good old reliable 68gsm Tomoe River paper and performs as expected. It's a stellar price for what you get.

The size, thickness and spacing is perfect, I’ve now ordered three field journals and multiple refills ranging from the dot grid to the planner. Each is perfect for what they would be used for. This little company is great and easy to work with. The two other field journals were gifts for friends and they both love theirs as well. Good job LOCHBY.
United StatesI am still new to this system, but so far I am really enjoying it and putting it to good use. I use journals frequently and keep several at the same time for different things. This system offers me what I need to keep things together in a simple way. For a fountain, pen, user, good paper is a non-negotiable and this works really well.
