This Field Journal is awesome! It exceeds my expectations substantially. The quality is good. The design extremely well thought out. The aesthetics amazing! 5 stars for sure!
I love the texture of the waxed canvas, and the design of the interior pockets and elastic bands make it easy to use in a variety of configurations and with so many notebooks that I have already been using. Between journaling, sketching and note-taking, I feel like my various notebooks are all competing for space, so I may have to get a second when the charcoal field journal is back in stock.
Have been looking for a decent notebook / journal for a while for everyday use / iteration. This journal is perfect: enough complexity to make it effective, but simple enough not to be overwhelming. Also like that it's waterproof and rugged so I don't have to worry about it getting messed up or even enduring some bumping and bruising. Would highly recommend, especially if you're on the fence (would also recommend pairing it with the Lochby pen. It works much better, in my opinion, than just putting a random pen in the side)
Love it, just the right size.
I’m delighted with my field journal so far! I was concerned it wouldn’t feel as nice in the hand as a leather cover, but I find it even more pleasing to the touch. I’ve filled it with the planner and dot refills and am pleased with the paper quality. I would love to see page numbers in the dot grid book, but that is my only complaint. I’ll be using it as my bullet journal and wallet.
