I purchased this after seeing a reel showing how it could be used to carry a bible. I went through a few bibles before I found one that worked. I would have liked the cord notebook holders to assist in organizing notebooks. Lochby prouducts are sold all around, I just would like things set up a bit differently, it doesn’t make it bad though. I use it daily for my studies.

After seeing that folks had found this fits bibles well, I wanted to try and make it work for my AA Big Book. After some measuring, I decided the fourth edition would not fit, but perhaps my first edition big book would. When my folio arrived, I was thrilled to see that after I took out the pen board, added a Lochby notebook, there was still room for my AA big book dictionary. I love my setup, but I wish there was a thicker version that could hold my 4th edition Big Book and a 12&12. Considering buying another one for my 12 & 12 and perhaps a third for my Al Anon book. I've reached out to Lochby to propose that they make a thicker version that can hold a Big Book and a 12 & 12. I think this would also make room for the pen board, which others have shared about already.
I love the product. It's my second Lochby purchase. Looking forward to what they will come up with next.

I got the Lochby Daily Folio A5 today, and it is not as I hoped.
So let's talk first about what it is. A zip up folio to hold A5 sized notebooks, it has pockets everywhere, including extra soft ones for electronics like your phone. There is a removable pen board that holds even enough pens for me, and it came in the olive / cream colorway that is slowly becoming my Lochby thing.
For you pen folks, the pen board has six places for pens. The middle four are more standard size, the outer two are slightly larger. All are elastic so offer some stretch, and of course it has the extra soft lining on the back.
I had planned to put my hardcover Leuchtturm A5 and a row of Jetstream pens in it, but it is not thick enough to hold both. You can get it zipped up, but it bends and bows out the cover because of the pens pushing against the cover of the notebook. And this was without anything else inside. So I see two options, and I don't care for either: use the folio without the pen board, leaving a pen loose inside; using the folio with the pen board and other stuff, like phone stands or mini notebooks, and keep the Leuchtturm external. Neither is what I’d bought this to do.
So if doesn't work for me, why four stars?
It is still a very well made piece of kit, the pockets are well laid out and thought through, bonus points for the cream interior.
For me, however, it’s just not right for what I want and I’m not sure what I’ll do with it.

I’m using this as a Bible case for an NIV Thinline Bible. It has room for that along with pens and notebooks. It may be too thin for a Bible that’s much thicker than a thinline. As always, this is great quality and built to last.
