Love my new A5 "Planner" notebook ...
I was very excited to find that Lochby offers A5 notebooks ... and even more excited to see one designed to be a planner. I'm using two of them to plan the next 12 months.
One caveat that I didn't expect: Both the monthly and weekly planner pages assume the week begins on Monday. I still live in an area where calendars show weeks beginning on Sunday. To use the Lochby planner seamlessly, I have to write over the day labels, which means I'm missing the 5-star experience I've come to expect from Lochby.

Monthly in the FRONT!
I appreciate that the monthly portion is all in the front, so I can flip month to month. 6 months are followed by six months worth of weekly. I always have the current block of months and upcoming 6 months in my planner.
(Oftentimes a single planner with monthly and weekly has one month, then a few weeks, and another momth, and a few more weeks. I MUCH PREFER this layout!)
I also like the Monday start day.
The ONLY improvement I would lobby for is a bolder line / print for the days of the week.

So I love how the calendar has writing space next to it. It's a bit awkward for me to switch from the month layout to the daily layout, I haven't quite figured out how to use these pages to their best. Loving the month layout though and don't really need the daily view I'm thinking. I think I'd prefer a 12 month planner instead. But by all means, buy it.
