Yes! Both Field Journal and Field Folio include an A5 dot grid notebook made from Tomoe River paper. Extra notebooks can be purchased separately here.

Can they hold multiple notebooks?

Yes, as long as the combined thickness isn’t over 1". You can carry up to six notebooks using the internal elastic cords.

Do they have pockets?

Yes! There’s a back pocket for notebooks or phones, and four interior pockets for cards, pens, etc.

Are they waterproof?

Both Field Journal and Field Folio are made of waxed canvas, offering water resistance. Over time, you may need to reapply wax to maintain their water resistance.

Can I write on them with one hand?

Yes! The built-in plastic sheet makes it rigid enough for one-handed writing.

Where are they made?

Both Field Journal and Field Folio are designed in the USA using materials from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, and assembled in Vietnam. Read more here.
