I Love it!! The pockets, so many, perfect for all my journaling ephemera! I love the carrying strap too!!
Everything that I hoped it would be.
This cover fits my Leuchterm 1917 notebook wonderfully; and the pen holder grips a uniball jetstream firmly enough. I love the latching mechanism and the overall look and feel. I have a few gripes / suggestions, though. My elastic pieces that hold the journal leafs in was knotted right in the middle of where it would need to sit to hold a notebook. Seriously? Knot the elastic on the outside of the journal, where it isn't needed to be smooth and flat and fit between paper sheets. The velcro (for the large rear pocket and the mesh internal pocket) is truly atrocious. First of all, I am not sure that velcro is even needed in either of those places, and even if it was, the scratchiness of the velcro makes it dreadfully unpleasant to put your fingers into those pockets as they are tight to begin with. For the interior pocket, I will rip the velcro out myself with a seam ripper - but for the rear pocket, I dare not, as the velcro patch is sewn into the pocket seam itself. This is just so baffling because the pocket is very tight, even without velcro, so much so that even just getting it undone is a wrestling affair. More of a suggestion, here - it would be very nice if the spine handle had at least one heavy-duty button. I carry a shoulder bag, and I will often find myself looping the strap through the shoulder - it would be nice to be able to button this handle around something, or even use the snaps as a sort of extension in order to install my own shoulder strap. Overall an excellent product and I am very happy with it, so, you still get five stars.
Really happy with it! It's just as I hoped it would be.
This is the best journal cover design I've come across. I've been to office stores several times, browsed amazon for hours and never found something I like. Its a bit pricey but not a deterrent given whats available.
